Introduction

The Harassment Committee of Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology, Islamabad Campus, is committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive educational and working environment for all students, faculty members, officers and staff. The committee functions in accordance with the policies and regulations of the Government of Pakistan and the Higher Education Commission (HEC) regarding the prevention of harassment and protection against discriminatory behavior within educational institutions. The primary objective of the committee is to ensure dignity, equality and mutual respect in the university environment by addressing complaints related to harassment, misconduct, bullying, discrimination and inappropriate behavior in a fair, confidential and transparent manner. The committee actively promotes awareness regarding ethical conduct, professional behavior and the rights and responsibilities of all members of the university community. The Harassment Committee encourages individuals to report any incident of harassment without fear of retaliation and ensures that all complaints are handled with confidentiality, impartiality and sensitivity. Through awareness campaigns, counseling and policy implementation, the committee strives to maintain a secure and supportive atmosphere that promotes academic excellence and professional integrity throughout the university.
