Dr. Imran Anwar Mir MBA-Marketing (QAU, PAK), MS Business Administration-Marketing (FUUAST, PAK), Ph.D. Marketing (IUI, PAK), and Postdoc (University of Helsinki, Finland), is an Assistant Professor of Marketing and HEC-recognized Ph.D. Research Supervisor at the Department of Business Administration, Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology, Islamabad. Dr. Imran Anwar Mir is also an Editorial member of the Journal of Promotion Management (Taylor & Francis). Over the last 20 years, Dr. Imran Anwar Mir has been teaching various marketing courses and subjects, including Marketing Management, Advertising, Strategic Brand Management, and Marketing Management of Online Platforms, in the BBA and MBA degree programs. He has also taught courses such as Conduct of Research Inquiry, Critical Literature Review, International Advertising, and Research Report Writing at the Master of Science (MS) and Ph.D. Levels. Dr. Imran Anwar Mir also taught Digital Marketing Management in the Food Industry and Special Questions in Marketing at the Department of Economics and Management, University of Helsinki, Finland, as a guest lecturer in 2022. Dr. Imran Anwar Mir received the Indigenous PhD and Post-doctoral Fellowship Awards in 2011 and 2022, respectively, from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. His area of research is Digital Marketing. Specifically, his research and publications are on different issues related to social media advertising, Influencer marketing, and online shopping. His scholarly work has appeared in esteemed academic publications, including the Journal of Research in Interactive Marketing, Journal of Internet Commerce, Journal of Promotion Management, Journal of Business Economics and Management, RAE-Revista de Administração de Empresas, and Journal of Creative Communications. Dr. Imran has also published some articles in the HEC-recognized local academic journals. In addition to his teaching and research activities, Dr. Imran Anwar Mir was the Head of the Business Administration Department at FUUAST Islamabad from May 2016 to May 2018.
