The department of electrical engineering was established in September 2004 and compromises of 28 faculty members and 413 students. The department is running a PEC recognized program in Electronics Engineering. The medium of Instruction is English. Laboratories facilities exist in the following areas.

Telecommunications
Digital Systems
Computer Simulation
Control Systems

The present faculty includes three PhDs (two professors and one assistant professor) all graduate from leading institutions abroad. Additionally faculty members include 8 M.S from leading institutions in Pakistan.
